The Town of Vernon will be hearing from the promoters of the event Tuesday. The event is expected to draw 65,000 people Aug. 16 to 18.
The organizers are promising to hire local people, offer “a VIP lounge for local residents and guests" and make donations to local charities. If the planning board upholds the denial of permits, Woodstock 50 could still go to court.
