Annual Jehovah's Witness Convention Moves Out of Rochester to Pennsylvania

One of the biggest conventions held annually in Rochester is moving to another city this year.

The Jehovah's Witnesses have moved their annual regional gathering next month to Wilkes Barre, Scranton.

The say they could not reach agreeable terms with the operators of the Blue Cross Arena, Pegula Sports and Entertainment.

PSE says it offered the Witnesses the lowest possible prices to cover the costs of security and other services.

Visit Rochester says the city's hotels will lose 5,000 room nights.
