The Monroe County Legislature meets tonight and is expected to vote on the proposal to fight the state's new driver's license law in court.
County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo wants to sue the state to challenge the law allowing illegal immigrants to get licenses.
She argues the law violates the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.
Monroe County Clerk Adam Bello has said he will carry out the law. Bello is running against Dinolfo in this year's County Executive Race.
