Crash Kills RIT Student, Injures 2 Others

A Rochester Institute of Technology student has been killed and two others are injured after a crash in Ohio.

According to RIT, fourth year engineering student Matthew Eskeli was killed when another car hit the students' car on I-70 south of Cleveland. Zach Cooper and Benjamin Cooper were in the car with Eskeli. Both were taken to an Ohio hospital.

All three were members of RIT's Electric Vehicle Team, and were coming back to Rochester from the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in Colorado.

The driver who ran into them has been accused of drunken driving and vehicular homicide.
