Republicans from across New York state gather for their annual meeting today in Albany.
The biggest item on the agenda is the formal election of the new state chairman.
Erie County GOP Chair Nick Langworthy locked up enough support this spring to win the election. He succeeds departing chairman Ed Cox, who will be raising money in New York for the Trump re-election campaign.
Monroe County County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo will be among those formally nominating Langworthy.
