A forecast prepared for AAA shows a record number of Americans, nearly 49 million, will travel at least 50 miles between Wednesday and Sunday. That's an increase of more than four percent over last year. More than 41 million will travel by car.
Gas prices are an average 19 cents lower per gallon than last year.
