Charlene Childers Sentenced in Sodus Double Homicide

The sentence is 28 years in prison for Charlene Childers -- who admitted killing her ex and his girlfriend in a child custody dispute.

Joshua Niles and Amber Washburn were gunned down in October in Sodus.

At the sentencing today, Niles' mother noted that Childers attended her son's funeral and told her "I just don’t understand how you can live with yourself."

Niles' sister said she wished Childers could have gotten a death sentence.

Childers pleaded guilty to manslaughter and a weapon charge. Her husband Timothy Dean is awaiting sentencing for murder.
