The Rochester Police Department is holding a promotion ceremony this morning to recognize nine new promotions and 11 others that happened recently.
The list includes La'Ron Singletary, who will formally be promoted to chief -- the job he has held on an interim basis for months.
Commander Joseph Morabito will be promoted to Deputy Chief of Operations.
And Captain Mark Mura is being promoted to Deputy Chief of Community Affairs.
