A Bath man is pleading guilty to trying to have sex with a nine year old child. 33-year-old William Read pleaded guilty in federal court to online enticement of a minor.
Federal prosecutors say he used social media to try and meet up with the child, but was stopped by state police and homeland security last October. Authorities had said he had condoms and candy on him when he was arrested. He faces 10 years to life in prison when he is sentenced.
