State Parole Board Denies Early Release for Alex Rideout

The state Parole Board has reportedly denied early release for Alex Rideout, the Pittsford man who was found guilty of tampering with evidence of his father's murder.

He was sentenced in October 2017 to consecutive sentences totaling three to eight years.

Alex and his brother, Colin, were implicated in the death of Craig Rideout when they were caught trying to get rid of evidence at Mendon Ponds Park.

Colin Rideout and their mother Laura were convicted of murder. Alex was acquitted of a murder charge at the trial.
