Lake Ontario Landowners Association to Sue International Joint Commission

Frustrated property owners along Lake Ontario say they will sue the agency that regulates the water level on the lake.

At a weekend rally in Oswego County, the president of the Lake Ontario Landowners Association -- Jim Shea -- promised to file a class action lawsuit against the International Joint Commission.

Shea's group blames the IJC's policies for the floods this year and two years ago. The lawsuit would seek compensation for the flood damage.

And he's calling for a criminal investigation of the commission.
