Bill for Illegal Immigrants Licenses Passes Assembly, Heads to Senate

The New York State Assembly has passed its so-called "Green Light" bill, which would allow illegal immigrants to get driver licenses.

It's not certain whether the State Senate has the votes to pass the bill, which opponents say is in violation of federal law.

But Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie says opponents continue to "spread misinformation and stoke fears."
