Unused Soccer Stadium Maintenance Included in City Budget

Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren's budget for the coming year includes more money to maintain the city's largely unused soccer stadium.

According to News10NBC, the price tag is rising from about a half million dollars this year, to more than $900,000 in the coming year. And the city does not expect to make any money at the stadium.

Warren reportedly told City Council member Molly Clifford that the city hopes to eventually pay for a dome for the stadium, and use it as a training center for young athletes. There is no word on the possible cost, or a timetable.
