MCSO Investigating Online Threat Made By Rush-Henrietta Student

An investigation is underway after the Monroe County Sheriff’s office says they were alerted to a concerning social media post made by a Rush-Henrietta student.

The Sheriff’s Office says they were made aware of the post last night and went to the student’s home spoke with the student and the student’s family. The post concerned the well-being of that student and the safety of others. The student was taken to the hospital for evaluation. Authorities say the student was not in school today, but Deputies were on the high school campus and Webster learning center campus today as a precaution.

No criminal charges have been filed at this time.
