Rochester Man Sentenced for Step Father's Death in Buffalo

The sentence is five years in prison, and five years' probation, for a Rochester man who shot and killed his former stepfather in Buffalo.

Andre Lewis pleaded guilty to manslaughter in April -- two prior murder charges ended in hung juries.

The shooting happened during an argument between Lewis' mother and Robert Echols, outside a basketball game in April 2017. It was recorded on security video.

Lewis claimed during the trials he shot Echols in self-defense.
