The bill allowing illegal immigrants to get New York driver's licenses may be in trouble in the state Senate.
The state Democratic Chairman told "Newsday" it's one of several issues that could cost Democrats their seats in the next election.
And incoming Republican Chairman Nick Langworthy has been one of the vocal critics of the bill. He says the state is trying to have it both ways, with a separate set of rules for NY and a separate set of rules for America.
Governor Cuomo has included the bill, and legalizing marijuana, among his priorities for the final weeks of the state legislative session.
