RPD Delayed in Releasing Details in Crash Involving Assemblyman Gantt

There is no word so far why the Rochester Police Department has not released some details of the crash Thursday evening involving State Assemblyman David Gantt.

News10NBC was the first to report it was Gantt who was driving a sedan that went though an intersection on Central Park and hit a van. The RPD has NOT said for the record that Gantt was driving.

The crash was recorded by a store security camera, Gantt and four people in the van were hurt. The Assemblyman was ticketed for running a stop sign, and the van driver was ticketed for driving without a license and not wearing a seat belt.
