Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren has unveiled a 15-year comprehensive plan for the city. The mayor calls it a plan for growth. It spells out her vision for land use policies and plans for housing, transportation and public safety. The plan is called Rochester 2034, and the city will take public comments at community meetings this summer before submitting a final draft for a City Council vote.
One of the most important powers and duties granted to a city and its citizens is the responsibility to develop and undertake a comprehensive plan.
