Authorities are releasing the name of the man taken into custody following a bank robbery and chase through Monroe County.
The Sheriffâs Office says 40-year-old Jason Rosso has been arrested and charged with robbery. Heâs accused of robbing the M&T Bank on Monroe Avenue in Pittsford on Tuesday, and leading authorities on a chase through several jurisdictions.
Authorities say the crash ended wh Rosso crashed in Winton Place Plaza in Brighton. He was taken to the hospital for minor injuries, treated and released.
He has been sent to the Monroe County Jail without bail.
Authorities say the arrest was made in collaboration with Brighton Police, Gates Police, Greece Police, Rochester Police and State Police.
