Committee To Vote On Amendments for Police Accountability Board

One amendment would put the final plan up for a referendum in November.

Another would allow a board member to have worked in law enforcement, though not for at least three years and not for the RPD.

Council President Loretta Scott says the amendments are the result of public feedback from emails, calls and recent public forums. Committee votes on the amendments are possible tomorrow, and a full Council vote could come Tuesday.
