The California man who authorities say flew across the country to Rochester, with the intent of having sex with a minor, is taking a plea deal.
Gabriel Murillo pleaded guilty today to attempted online enticement of a minor.
Federal prosecutors say between April of 2018 and February of 2019, Murillo engaged in sexually explicit online conversations with an individual who he believed was a 12 year old girl.
He was actually talking with an undercover officer and was arrested while getting off a plane at the Rochester airport in February.
He is facing a minimum of ten years in prison when he is sentenced in August.
