UPDATE: Mason Earle Sentenced for Hamlin Double Homicide

Mason Earle, the man convicted of murder in the deaths of two men in Hamlin last fall, has been sentenced to the maximum, life in prison without parole.

He was found guilty, last month, of two counts of murder and one of arson in the deaths of Alex Burrow and Bruce Kane.

Burrow and Kane were shot to death behind a warehouse last year and the car they were in was set on fire.

The defense had argued during the trial that police browbeat Earle into making a confession. Prosecutors said the murder was drug related.
