The East Ave. Wegmans is now offering something new for customers. Wegmans announced today that a new app called ‘Wegmans SCAN’ is now available.
It allows customers to scan and bag their groceries while they shop. After they are done shopping, customers can pay for their groceries at any self-checkout register.
To use the app, you must be connected to the store’s WiFi and link the app to your Shoppers Club account. It's free and available for download for both iOS and Android devices.
Officials say if the app is successful at the East Ave. store they may considering rolling it out to additional stores.
