Rochester City Council Selects LaShay Harris to Replace Adam McFadden

The Rochester City Council has selected County Legislator LaShay Harris to complete the term of former councilmember Adam McFadden.

The formal vote to confirm Harris' appointment is set for Tuesday evening.

McFadden lost his seat month after he pleaded guilty to wire fraud and tax charges in the federal investigation at the Rochester Housing Authority.

Harris will be running in the June Democratic primary for a full term on the council. The challengers are Ann Lewis and Frank Martin.
