Man Charged in Irondequoit Shooting, Indicted by Monroe County Grand Jury

The man charged in connection with an Irondequoit shooting last month, is being indicted by a Monroe County Grand Jury.

Romand Avery has been indicted on a charge of first degree assault and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

Police say he shot a man in the leg and hand at an address on Harwick Road on March 24th.

The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries. Police say the shooting was not random and the two did know each other.
