The Rochester city school board will hold a public hearing this evening on the school district's proposed budget.
The hearing is set for 5:30 at the Central Office Building on West Broad.
As proposed last month, the district wants to cut 194 teaching positions, 26 teaching assistants positions and 50 administrative jobs. But veteran teachers have been offered an early retirement, and that could save some of the positions.
