Opening statements began Thursday in the case against a man accused of murdering two young men in Hamlin last fall. Investigators say Mason Earle shot and killed Alexander Burrow and Bruce Kane. Their bodies were found in a burned out car last September.Prosecutors say, at the time of the crime, Earle was supposed to meet Burrow to exchange the money owed. Investigators say Kane was simply in the car with Burrow, who was the driver, and was a victim of circumstance.
