Rochester City Council Votes to Join Lawsuit Against Opioid Companies

The Rochester City Council has voted to join a lawsuit being brought by local governments around the country against companies that make and sell opioids.

Cities and counties are suing to recoup costs associated with the opioid epidemic.

Rochester will join the lawsuit being led by a law firm in New York City. It will not cost the city anything to retain the firm.
