UPDATE: Two Arrested Following Police Chase in Rochester

Two people are facing charges following a chase that ended in a crash near Saxton Street and West Broad Street in Rochester.

Greece Police say Phillip Holley, the suspect in the weekend shooting at the Creek House Commons apartments on White Swan Drive, was seen getting into a vehicle on Tremont Street in the City of Rochester. A Greece Police officer tried to stop the vehicle, but it took off.

Following a brief chase, the vehicle crashed into a parked van in the driveway of a home on Saxton Street.

The driver, identified as Corey Bowman, and Holley ran from the scene but were later taken into custody.

Greece Police charged Holley with assault, criminal use of a firearm, burglary, criminal contempt and criminal mischief.

Bowman was taken to the Monroe County Jail on a parole violation and will face additional charges from RPD for the chase.

Police say Bowman was not involved in the weekend shooting on White Swan Drive.
