Forty-nine people are dead and at least 20 are seriously injured in shootings at mosques in New Zealand. Two mosques were attacked Friday around the time of afternoon prayers. A male in his late 20s has been charged with murder. Three other people were in custody, but one may not be involved in the shootings. Several firearms were recovered from both crime scenes. Investigators also found two improvised explosive devices on a vehicle. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says the shootings "can now only be described as a terrorist attack." The gunman appeared to live-stream his attack in a 17-minute video that looked to be recorded on a helmet camera.
