Onondaga Co. DA Finds Jim Boeheim Committed No Crime Following Crash

The Onondaga County District Attorney has concluded Syracuse basketball coach Jim Boeheim committed no crime when he struck and killed a pedestrian last month on a Syracuse expressway.

The D-A's report found "Boeheim’s operation of his motor vehicle was not reckless, unreasonable or with gross negligence, and no crimes were committed.”

Boeheim swerved late at night to avoid a wrecked, unlit, car blocking two lanes of the highway when he hit one of the occupants walking nearby -- Jorge Jimenez.
