Legislation Aimed at Toughening Gun Policies, Headed to the Governor's Desk

Legislation is headed to Governor Cuomo's desk that would toughen gun policies.

Lawmakers in Albany passed a bill yesterday that would require people with children under 16-years-old to put weapons in storage units. The containers need to include a lock.

People who don't comply could face misdemeanor charges and a one-thousand-dollar fine.

Governor Cuomo is expected to sign the legislation.
