Winds Beginning to Pick Up, People Still Rushing to Prepare for Wind Storm

We're under a High Wind Warning this afternoon and into tomorrow as winds possibly gusting over 70 miles per hour are heading for us later today.

Governor Cuomo was in Rochester yesterday, telling people to get ready before this afternoon and saying he's spoken to the heads of upstate utility companies to be sure they're ready to handle power outages as quickly as possible.

People have been preparing, stocking up on food, flashlight batteries and extension cords for generators. Wegmans was restocking bread shelves every 30 minutes yesterday.
