Jim Boeheim Accident Garners National Attention, Sets Conflicted Tone

The fatal accident involving Syracuse basketball coach Jim Boeheim has put a cloud over Saturday night's huge home game against that nation's Number One team, Duke. ESPN has canceled plans to broadcast its College Game Day show from the Dome, citing the celebratory nature of the show. And it's not clear if Boeheim will be coaching the Orange.

Syracuse Police Chief Kenton Buckner doesn't believe Boeheim will face charges.

Onondaga County District Attorney Bill Fitzpatrick says Boeheim was trying to avoid hitting a wrecked car on an expressway Wednesday night, when he fatally hit 51-year-old Jorge Jimenez.
