Proposed Bill in NYS Legislature Would Allow Felons to Serve on Juries

A proposed bill in the New York Legislature would allow felons to serve on juries.

The bill has already passed in the Senate Judiciary Committee and could be voted on by the full Senate as early as this month. It also reportedly has strong support in the Assembly.

If passed, New York would become the third state in the nation to allow felons who've served their time to be jurors.
