Court Papers Say Islamberg Bomb Plot Was Detailed

Papers filed in court say the four young men arrested for plotting to bomb a Muslim enclave in Delaware County targeted Islamberg because they believed all Muslims are "automatically terrorists."

The papers were filed by prosecutors seeking to keep the case of the 16-year-old suspect arrested by Greece Police in criminal court instead of family court under the "Raise the Age" law. They say each of the four suspects had a specific role in the plot, which was intended to kill and injure as many people as possible in the Islamic community east of Binghamton.

The papers say the 16-year-old's role was to make bombs. Others collected rifles, shotguns and ammunition. They say Brian Colaneri, Andrew Crysel, Vincent Vetromile and the teenager had tasken 22 specific steps leading up to a terrorist attack.
