Jury Convicts Man For Deadly 2017 Shooting in Charlotte

A man charged in connection with a homicide in the Fall of 2017, is going to prison. According to the Monroe County District Attorney's Office a jury has convicted Darrin Jones Jr. for second degree murder for the shooting death of Shaquan McMillian. 

McMillian was shot and killed in October of 2017 in a parking lot near Beach and Lake Avenues in Charlotte. 

Jones faces 25 years to life in prison when he is sentenced in March.
