Updates on Foiled Islamberg Attack

Officials from the Islamic community of Islamberg are planning a news conference today to comment on the alleged plot against their community by four suspects arrested in Rochester.

Islamberg is in the Town of Hancock in Delaware County, about half-an-hour's drive east of Binghamton. It's a gated community of about 40 families, established in the 1980s. Families there send their children to local schools.

Brian Colaneri, left, Andrew Crysel and Vincent Vetromile are accused of plotting to attack an upstate New York Muslim community with explosives. The three men are from the Rochester, New York, area.

Islamberg was targeted once before, by a Tennessee man who was found guilty of planning an attack. He's now serving a 20-year prison term.
