AAA says the average price for a gallon of regular gas in the Rochester region fell another nickel since last week. The average price is now $2.55, and the statewide average is $2.58.
Prices have dipped a few cents below where they were at this time a year ago. Analysts say planned OPEC oil production cuts could push gas prices back up. But oil prices would have to go up by about $30 per barrel to push gas prices back to the $3 per gallon range.
