City of Rochester Awarded State Environmental Funding

The City of Rochester has been awarded $250,000 in state environmental funding for completion of its "Priority Bicycle Boulevards" project. The money will help the city build the last ten miles of its bicycle boulevards network, connecting major streets with a network of bike lanes, protected bike lanes, multi-use trails and shared use lanes encouraging more people to pedal than to take the car.
