State Health Officials: Flu Now Prevalent in NYS

State health officials say the flu is now prevalent in New York State. That means health care workers who have not been vaccinated must wear masks in areas near patients. 

The Monroe County public health department says there have been 34 confirmed flu cases in the county since the season began October 1. Seven people have been hospitalized.
