Guilty Plea in Brockport Drug Overdose Death

A Rochester man has pleaded guilty to criminally negligent homicide for selling the drugs that caused a fatal overdose in Brockport. The Monroe County District Attorney's Office says 22-year-old Raymond Martinez also pleaded guilty on two charges of selling drugs.

Martinez was arrested for selling drugs to Alan Crawford before Crawford was found dead at a Brockport motel back in January. The Monroe County Heroin Task Force found that he died from a mix of heroin and fentanyl, and traced the drugs back to Martinez.

Martinez will serve six years in prison after his sentencing on February 5th.
