Authorities have confirmed the identity of the body found Sunday in Gates. As police suspected, the body was that of 57-year-old Gates resident Donald Phillips.
No one had heard from him since early November. Phillips' body was found in a creek near Wegman and Buffalo roads. Foul play is not suspected in his death.
