NYS Tourism Officials say Peak Foliage Visible Now in Finger Lakes Region

You don't have to drive far to get a good look at fall colors this weekend. State tourism officials say peak foliage is visible now in the Finger Lakes and several other regions.

They define ‘peak’ as the overall best appearance the foliage will have during the season -- though the foliage change has been uneven this season.

Letchworth State Park is still green, though hickory trees are expected to change color this weekend. Look for peak to past-peak foliage in the northern half of Livingston County. In Ontario County, spotters in Canandaigua predict peak foliage this weekend.
