Anyone who lives in New York and plans to vote in the midterm elections must register by today, Friday. That's the deadline for voters in the state to be eligible to vote on Election Day, November 6th.
Voters will head to the polls with nearly all of New York's elected officials on the ballot, including governor, comptroller, attorney general, lieutenant governor, and candidates for the state legislature.
There are a couple ways to register, including online through the Department of Motor Vehicle's website, or in person at state agency offices.
