Canandaigua Man Accused of Yelling Racial Slurs Convicted of Misdemeanor

A Canandaigua man who was accused of yelling racial slurs at two teenagers has been cleared of felony charges but has been convicted of a misdemeanor.

An Ontario County jury found Michael Orbino not guilty of stalking as a hate crime, but guilty of harassment. He was sentenced to time served.

Prosecutors said Orbino yelled the racial slurs at two African American girls at Baker Park in Canandaigua in February.
