Investigators suspect arson was behind a fire at a motel in Canandaigua. It was reported shortly before midnight at the Pinewood Manor Motel on County Road 50.
No one was hurt, but the fire caused minor damage to the rear of an empty room under renovation. Investigators are still determining the exact cause of the fire and the person or persons responsible.
