Cocaine Trafficking Ring Kingpin Sentenced to Life in Prison

A Greece man has been sentenced to life in prison for operating a national cocaine trafficking ring.

Sixty-three-year-old Colin Montague was sentenced yesterday in federal court. He had been found guilty in a seven-week trial. Federal prosecutors say Montague arranged for the shipment of several hundred pounds of cocaine from the western United States to the Rochester area between 2008 and 2014.

And he was accused of laundering more than $2.3 million through his Rochester real estate business, Montague Enterprise.
