Perinton Woman Indicted on Charges In Connection with Fatal Overdose

A Perinton woman has been indicted on manslaughter and drug charges for allegedly supplying the drugs that killed a man.

The Monroe County District Attorney's office says Melinda Hamelinck provided fentanyl that killed the unnamed 31-year-old man. The felony charges include second-degree manslaughter, two counts of third-degree sale of a controlled substance and two counts of third-degree possession of a controlled substance.

Hamelinck  is due in court August 27.
