Driver Arrested in Fatal Hit-and-Run After Darien Lake Concert

A 48-year-old woman is accused of leaving the scene of an accident at Darien Lake amusement park that left an 18-year-old dead. Jennifer Serrano, 48, is charged with 2nd degree vehicular manslaughter and leaving the scene of a personal injury incident. Investigators said Serrano struck and killed Connor Lynskey, 18, of Hinckley, which is near Utica. Lynskey was apparently walking on the shoulder of Sumner Road with a group of friends around 12:30 am Saturday when he apparently ran off to catch up to another friend. Deputies said his friends contacted police when Lynskey never showed up to their campsite at Darien Lake. Investigators seized Serrano's vehicle after a search warrant was used at a property in Amherst, NY Sunday morning. Serrano is from Irving, New York.
